Use speaker ordering when you want certain speakers, such as keynotes or headline guests, to appear first on your public event pages. Use custom tags when you want a short label, such as “Keynote Speaker” or “VIP Speaker,” to appear on a speaker card.
Arrange speakers manually
Go to Content > Speakers in your dashboard.
If the page shows Classic Sorting, drag and drop speakers in the list to turn on custom sorting and place them in your preferred order. If custom sorting is already active, continue reordering the speakers from this list.
Custom sorting controls how speakers are ordered on your public event pages, not just in the dashboard list.
To switch back to the default order, click Click here to change to classic sorting (alphabetically). Classic sorting orders speakers alphabetically, with VIP and VIP B speakers shown first.
Note: If you rely on the VIP or VIP B fields to prioritize speakers automatically, use classic sorting. Custom sorting uses the order you set manually and does not automatically sort by the VIP fields.
Add a custom tag to a speaker
Open the speaker record from Content > Speakers, then use the Custom Tag field. You can choose an existing tag or add a new one.
Custom tags appear on the public speaker card, so they are useful for labels such as keynote, host, panelist, sponsor, or VIP speaker.
If a speaker has a custom tag and also has an offer, giveaway, or freebie badge, the custom tag is shown on the speaker card.
