Improved Heading Styling in the Theme Editor

Written by Jerica

The Theme Editor includes heading controls that help you keep H1, H2, and H3 styles consistent across your custom landing pages and theme-overridable event headings.

In the Theme Editor, use the font and colour settings to adjust:

  • Header Font, if you want headings to use a different font from your body text.

  • Header Letter Spacing, if your heading font needs more or less space between letters.

  • Header Colors for H1, H2, and H3.

  • Font Sizes for H1, H2, and H3.

  • Line Heights for H1, H2, and H3.

Font size and line height can be set for the default view and for specific breakpoints: laptop, tablet, mobile, and small mobile. This lets you keep large desktop headings while making smaller screens easier to read.

A good workflow is to set the default H1, H2, and H3 sizes first, then preview your event at smaller widths and adjust only the breakpoints that need extra tuning.

These controls are intended for headings that use HeySummit's theme heading styles. Some built-in page elements may still use their own fixed typography when they are not designed to inherit the global heading overrides.
