Use a promo banner when you want to show a short announcement or call to action across the top of your event pages. You can use the default ticket promo banner to encourage visitors to buy a ticket, or create a custom promo banner for a specific offer, deadline, sponsor message, or important event note.
Here is an example of a promo banner on an event page:
To set one up, go to Event Setup > Settings and find the Promo Banner card.
Select Update to open the banner settings.
Default Ticket Promo Banner turns on a ticket-focused banner. It uses your ticket promo title and button text, and links visitors to your ticket checkout. This banner only appears when registrations are open, the visitor has not already completed a purchase, and there is no custom promo banner active.
Custom Promo Banner lets you enter your own title, description, button text, button URL, and optional icon. Turn on Banner Active? when you want the custom banner to appear on your event pages.
If both options are configured, the custom promo banner takes priority over the default ticket promo banner.
To remove the custom banner, open the same settings and turn off Banner Active?. To remove the default ticket banner, turn off Promote Tickets via Promo Bar?.
