Scenario

You want to add some images to your page. Adding images is easy if you're using Markdown language. Markdown language is a simple plain text formatting syntax you can insert into your text and provide more value to your audience. It allows you to insert links and images, and format text.

Quick start

  1. To add an image, start with an exclamation mark !
  2. Add the text preceding the image inside two brackets [ ].
  3. Next, add the path or URL link to the image asset inside two parentheses ( ). You can optionally add a title after the URL in the parentheses.
  4. If you want to add a title to the image (the text that appears when a user hovers their cursor over the image), add the text to the end of Step 3 and enclose the title inside two quotation marks " ".
  5. To add a link to an image, repeat Steps 1-4 but this time, enclose it all inside two brackets [ ] and then add the link inside two parentheses ( ).
